CTSPS, Inc. has been at the forefront of efforts to increase the recognition of all therapists, but most especially SLPs. CTSPS, Inc. believes those in private practice by the sheer nature of independent autonomy must possess a base knowledge of healthcare funding and practice. Our current director recently co-authored a publication on healthcare funding and billing.

CTSPS, Inc. believes that the therapist’s time is valuable and provides adequate administrative staff to ensure that therapist time is spent on clinical activities. CTSPS, Inc. ensures efficiency by utilizing EHR systems, assigned laptops, and provides all evaluation, testing and therapy supplies.

CTSPS, Inc. maintains two clinics with adequate space for each individual patient to be treated in a private office. CTSPS, Inc. understands that while SLP is a highly rewarding career requiring advanced education and achievements, it is still a job. CTSPS, Inc. has developed innovative and flexible agreements based on the individual needs of each of its highly regarded therapists. CTSPS, Inc. not only offers a wide variety of work schedules, but it also supports each in comparing pay options.

CTSPS, Inc. offers:

·         Full-time salaried positions with full benefits

·         Part-time salaried positions with pro rata benefits

·         Limited hour packages (i.e. after School needs 3:00-6:00 or half days)

No matter the employment package, CTSPS, Inc. maintains a commitment to work-life balance by requiring a reasonable percentage of direct contact with patients which allows for planning, documentation and needed breaks without creating a need to use one’s time off to complete these job duties.

Bonuses are paid for all units that exceed baseline productions. Full-time, salaried employees can request flexibility in scheduling – i.e., leaving at 2:00 pm on Fridays if base units and documentation have been completed. CTSPS, Inc. supports the profession. Licensed interns seeking employment for the Clinical Fellowship year are always welcomed at CTSPS, Inc. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, the clinic has been an important part of the healthcare community. CTSPS, Inc. has developed a highly supportive supervision process for these interns. A supervision hour is scheduled weekly to ensure that the Clinical Fellowship is a valuable experience. While this is a significant commitment in cost for CTSPS, Inc., as neither the CF or the supervisor is billing for services during this hour each week, CTSPS, Inc. is firmly committed to supporting and mentoring SLPs who will continue as CTSPS team members beyond the CF period. CTSPS, Inc. repays ASHA and state certifying and licensing cost after the CF’s first employment anniversary with CTSPS, Inc.
